Kaleb

I love dancing, but I love teaching more! I began dancing with the Theater Dance Center/ Theater 8:15 where I participated in competition dance and musical theater productions. It was there that I developed my passion for dance. It led me to begin my formal ballet training at the Canton Ballet Conservatory under the artistic direction of Cassandra Crowley. I studied under a variety of teachers, such as, Inna Starbreva, Sergei Fokin, Dmiytry Tubolstev all graduates of Vaganova Academy, the Kirov Academy, San Francisco Ballet, Ballet Met, and the Harid Conservatory. Following graduation, I completed three years of study at the Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre Graduate Program. From there, I accepted the role as a lead dancer for Ballet Quad Cities.
I find passion in sharing everything I’ve learned through my dance experience as a student and a professional. More than that though, I love supporting these kids from the time they enter the studio to the time they graduate. I can’t imagine a better place to do all of this than Above The Barre Dance Academy. The encouraging atmosphere is magnetic. Each day, I get to meet and talk to so many lovely people. I can sit down with almost any parent and have a nice conversation about anything. And to me that is telling!
Dance will forever be part of my family. I met my wife Heidi at Ballet Quad Cities. We live in Davenport and have two sons, Henry, and our newborn Calvin.
